Twenty twenty Brides
Updated: Feb 6
So everything is beginning to come together, you look in front of the mirror and realize this is your wedding dress! Things and duties are being checked off your to do list. Now for the flowers, hmmmmm, you know what vibe you want, but how to make the vision come to life.
That's where we come into play, your local florist. With all the buzz of the latest trends in 2020 Floral, let's take a look at what is in, in trend that is.
A lot of brides in the new year are going with bright pops of color, against subtle bridesmaid dresses in shades of blush and nude tones. Another trend that is gaining popularity is the dried botanicals. From pampas grasses, to bleached and dried ferns, to wheat's and bunny tails (not actual bunny tails lol, but a type of dried ornamental grass). In 2020 we will see more lights and lighted up vases, creating an intimate gathering place for a wedding. Brides will opt for LED lights that will help give the impression of a futuristic look. Sustainability will be a key factor in many weddings, as brides are favoring giving away plants as gifts at receptions, giving away centerpieces to guests and donating to elderly care facilities the left over flowers. We will also see a more adventurous trend where more brides are wearing trailing flowers in their hair.
These are just a few of the trends that are gathering steam as we begin our journey into 2020, I can't wait to see as other's begin to emerge.
